Students who successfully complete the prescribed program in fire technology will be eligible to receive an Associate of Applied Science degree. Attainment of the Associate of Applied Science degree does not result in Basic Firefighter Certification.

A maximum of 18 college credit hours in Fire Technology may be awarded when an applicant has completed a minimum of any nine hours in the degree plan.
