MACHINIST CNC

Faculty and Staff Machinist Trade Information Request

CNC PROGRAMMING

This certificate program is designed for students who wish to develop specific job skills in Machinist Trades with a specialization in CNC Programming. A Certificate of Proficiency is awarded upon completion of all course work in this program.

Students in this program will learn to convert CAD-CAM drawings into machine code used by automated machines. Emphasis will be placed on the planning, preparing and operating of a computer-assisted machining program. Course projects will develop skills required by local industry.

This is a TASP-waived certificate. Students declaring this major are not subject to the TASP regulations unless they enroll in a course outside the prescribed curriculum.
